You would think that after 14 years in this industry that I might be a pro at packing... nothing could be further from the truth. I am horrible at it. It takes me forever to actually pack the items into my suitcase, and invariably, I overpack and yet still manage to forget a favorite piece of clothing. I still can't believe I packed for 2 weeks in India in just one jumbo suitcase... but that's another show...
This year, I'm a bit ahead of the game for packing for PCMA. I've already set things aside, picked up the dry cleaning, and since I'm traveling to Philly by train, I don't have to worry about baggage weight limits! As long as I can move my bag (OK, I mean bags), I'm fine. :)
Some of you are used to my pre-conference emails advising of weather conditions. In fact, some of you opened your email to one this morning. For the rest of you, the next few days in Philly will be basically "Partly Cloudy" with highs ranging from 38-49 degrees, and lows ranging from 27-36. The only day showers are mentioned are for Tuesday and Thursday.
I am so excited to experience another PCMA conference. I feel very fortunate to participate, as I have many friends who can't (cutbacks, layoffs, etc.).
What I'm not excited about is packing...
